She & HER × Thryv
A Strategic Partnership, Mapped

From  Desirée Mayon, CEO and founder, She & HER Following  Our partner discussion, June 12, 2026 Launch  NYC Pride · June 28, 2026
1

A strategic partnership that runs on rails you already have.

Thryv's partner menu has three working doors — and this proposal draws on all three. From the referral lane: qualified SMB pipeline instead of commission clicks. From the developer lane: product investment and integrations. From the reseller world: agency access. The economics are modeled on a program your competitor has already validated — HubSpot for Startups — so nothing here asks Thryv to invent from scratch.

Existing

Referral / Affiliate

Recurring commission for sending small businesses to Thryv or Keap. Built for volume.

Existing

Reseller

Agencies and consultants packaging Thryv into their own client services.

Existing

Developer

Integrations, plug-ins, and API connections into the Thryv + Keap marketplace.

Proposed

Strategic Partner

One partner operating across all three lanes: ICP-aligned pipeline, product investment and integrations, agency networks, and co-built demand generation — structured for repeatable growth, not one-off referrals.

2

The play HubSpot already runs — and the one She & HER is already in.

HubSpot for Startups gives eligible early-stage companies a stepped discount ladder, with eligibility verified through 4,000+ approved partner organizations — accelerators, VCs, and startup programs. She & HER qualifies through exactly that mechanism. This proposal asks Thryv to pilot the same structure, with She & HER as cohort one and as a founding ecosystem partner.

“Whenever a company partners with me, we do true partnerships — I help in every way I can, and I bring my pipeline with me.”

3

Who She & HER is

She & HER is a community-based dating app for the sapphic community — women who love women — built on a simple thesis: teach people how to date before you match them. We launch at NYC Pride on June 28, 2026, with national press coverage tied to the moment.

Founder-built technology

Desirée Mayon is a data scientist with 15+ years in ML across Google, Microsoft/Xbox, Etsy, and Nordstrom. The platform is engineered in-house — which is why our technology partnerships run deeper than discounts.

Backed infrastructure

Active partner in NVIDIA Inception, AWS Activate, and Google for Startups Cloud — the same class of startup programs HubSpot uses to verify eligibility for its 90% tier.

Lean by design

A ~10-person team with an external brand and marketing studio. We are exactly the customer Thryv was built for: big reach, lean headcount, tools doing the work of departments.

4

Two roles, one structure

She & HER plays both sides of the program: cohort one — the startup on program terms — and founding ecosystem partner — the organization that routes qualified small businesses into Thryv's funnel. Toggle to see each direction.

  • Program-parity terms: 90% off Thryv + Keap, year one, on the HubSpot ladder. The benchmark structure was shared with Tiana on the June 12 call. In your referral lanes, partners take 20–30% commission — here, the commission is traded for platform access. Thryv's cash cost is marginal seat capacity; the return is the pipeline and the case study below.
  • A working session with the partnerships owner. One conversation to pressure-test the pilot structure — what eligibility looks like, what a qualified referral means, what cohort two could be.
  • A full product demo, tailored to a social-first GTM.Social media management is the capability gap we're hiring Thryv to fill — that's where the demo should live.
  • A timeline that meets the moment. Our launch is June 28. Sooner is better — right is best. We have the team to move quickly once terms are aligned.
  • A named SMB referral pipeline — companies, not clicks. Our partner network is a working roster of small businesses: event production companies, venues and bars, creative agencies, and LGBTQ+-owned SMBs across NYC, Houston, Atlanta, Oakland, and Chicago. Qualified, founder-to-founder introductions into Thryv's funnel begin when terms are signed. Section 6 maps each source to the Thryv product it buys.
  • The flagship case study: Thryv + Keap running a national consumer launch on a 10-person team.Top-of-funnel on Thryv, mid-funnel nurture on Keap Max — the full-stack proof Thryv needs to sell the startup segment, with real numbers behind it.
  • Event-sourced demand from the most founder-dense rooms in the country.Speaking slots at AfroTech (40,000+ attendees), Lesbians Who Tech (5,000+ summit, 110,000-member community), and The AI Conference (5,500+ builders and founders) are the access mechanism — structured referral capture routes founders and operators from those rooms into the program as qualified leads.
  • A big-tech alumni network that founds companies.Fifteen-plus years across Google, Microsoft/Xbox, Etsy, and Nordstrom puts Desirée inside the FAANG alumni circles — Xoogler and ex-Microsoft founder communities — where operators leave to start companies. Those alumni-founded startups are precisely the cohort the startup channel exists to capture, and the introduction comes founder-to-founder.
  • Product investment: integrations and value-added offerings, engineered in-house.Desirée is a 15-year ML engineer and a HubSpot technology partner who has built on the competitor's product line. That capability points at Thryv's developer lane: marketplace integrations, AI/ML product feedback as Thryv expands its AI features, and co-developed vertical playbooks for event and service businesses — value-add that deepens the customer experience and lifts retention. The integration roadmap is an agenda item for the working session.
  • Scalable events, education, and demand generation — co-built.Beyond speaker slots: co-hosted "launch playbook" workshops and webinars teaching SMBs and founders how to run GTM on the Thryv + Keap stack. Education that doubles as demand gen, repeatable on an annual event calendar.
  • A co-announcement produced by our brand studio. Our marketing team drafts and produces the partnership announcement — including placement inside the startup-program channels we sit in.

What this is — and what it isn't

This is a strategic partnership: ongoing, repeatable growth built on pipeline, product investment, and co-built demand generation. It is not an influencer or affiliate-content arrangement — no sponsored posts, no promotion to a consumer audience, no payment for reach. She & HER routes companies — vetted small businesses and funded startups — into Thryv's funnel, ships value into Thryv's product ecosystem, and runs its own launch on the stack as proof. Measured in qualified referrals, closed accounts, and retention.

She & HER is the Grow engine: the partner that drives visibility, market reach, and referrals back into the top of the funnel. That's the marketing engine we provide — and the loop closes in segments Thryv has no footprint in today.
